If Pujols manages Angels , will that enhance Arenado to play for Albert ?

Arenado has already indicated he needs to expand his teams list to Cardinals and that "i cannot nitpick this time around' (referring to limiting teams to just playoff type teams ). A southern California native who resided there married to his HS sweetheart from there makes closing out his career there a no brainer geographically for his family.
Would the fact that Nado could play for Albert Pujols be the clincher for Arenado to accept a deal with Angels ?
Note: Arenado said this about him playing with Pujols on the 2022 Cardinal team ...
Arenado spoke about how amazing it was to play alongside and learn from Pujols, calling him his "favorite player".
One would think Pujols is fond of Arenado and could be a good match for the two of them .

Arenado nixed the Houston trade as he was concerned about their competitiveness after trading Tucker. So if he wants a ring the Angels are out. I can't see the Angels, stung by their horrid Rendon contract that runs through next year, ponying up for two years of rapidly declining Arenado. Then again the Angels may just be dumb enough to go for it. Pujols' potential presence likely matters little either way.

AP is not going to the Angels to manage a rebuild. Nado,a native southern Californian, would be a perfect fit for the Angels. The way the Angels, a big market team, the Cards may not have to take a hit on a salary dump to trade him.

In the absence of taking back a bad contract (they won't) the Cardinals are absorbing money from Arenado's contract if he is moved, regardless of where he goes.

At this point, Arenado is probably not headed to a WS contender. If he wants out of StL, he should consider the Angels. It at least puts him back home in SoCal.
The Mariners, Yankees, Blue Jays, Red Sox, Tigers, Dodgers, Brewers, and Phillies won't be seeking a declining player with a sizeable contract.

No he’s not moving because of Albert. He will not base his decision on one factor such as manager. He will be more flexible than last year but he will consider many factors:
Is team competitor?
What will his role be on the roster?
Will he play 3rd or first?
What does playing for that team do for his ego and legacy?
I think team location will be way down the list.

Arenado at end of season publicly stated he can’t be as picky as previously and will extend his list of teams to go to.
So that is why Angels mentioned by some as it is his home area. Great place to finish out his career for family reasons . His wife’s family from there too. Nado and wife were HS sweethearts.

I think you skipped an important consideration. Why on earth would the Angels want to acquire a third basemen who is turning 35 next year and fading into oblivion? Don't you think they could find a better model with more mileage left in him?
