Agreed. I was yelling at the TV. They let both runners move up. You're supposed to force the runner back to the previous base. They did get away with the blunder. As Casey Stengel once famously said, "doesn't anybody here know how to play this game?"

The catcher didn't run him back far enough back towards 3rd and gave up the ball too early in the play. Ok I watched replay several times. I agree with you that, if he holds a bit longer, he still has a small amount of time to get thecrunner, and the next runner isn’t even off second yet. You have a point.
