Regarding Blaze not really , as for Jordan he is working hard in offseason, Jesus looks like one of the Alou brothers , and Baez ? well she is 84 now and too old for Bloom's younger rebuild !

Deniel Ortiz...smidge older, but a much better hitter.

you need to raise your standards when it comes to players. Baez is nice kid, but not great...not anywhere near great, nor "pretty impressive"

Sebastian Dos Santos, Kenly Hunter....I'm saving my judgement on Royelny Strop, he'll have to stay healthy next season....same with Jesus Baez...health is an issue

I try not to hyperventilate about prospects, but I have to admit I am about as excited to see Padilla get to the upper levels and see what he can do as I have been about any prospect. I hope he pans out. Man, the tools.

yep...Padilla is going to be the real deal...he just needs to avoid inside breaking balls, b/c they're breaking his bones. He was hit alot this year in the FCL.

I'll be late to the party next summer, but I hope to see him play in Palm Beach sometime in July. I hope he plays well before then.

I still have high hopes for Josh Baez, Deniel Ortiz, and even Chase Davis.

Are there three pitching prospects comparable to these nice position prospects? I'm starting to wonder about Mathews and Hence.

I was with you on these guys Cranny, but I’m afraid Baez, and Davis will struggle to make enough contact verses Major league pitching.
Baez had a nice year, but to be honest, he had to, or he was probably let go. 2026 will be huge for both of these guys. Can Baez continue to make strides and can Davis start being the hitter the Cardinals drafted soooo highly? Jury is still out.
