If we have the same old lineup next year and we are still terrible will Card Nation turn on Bloom? Will he be allowed to do anything or will his orders be to get us to look like Tampa Bay or Miami?

It all depends on if Silas Marner gives him $$ to work with.

Well, if his first decision was to keep Oli, I'm not going to be too sanguine. And if that wasn't his decision, I'm not going to be too sanguine, either.

I don't know. What time is it now?
Some have already turned, it seems.
I know I'll give him every chance. I don't like his keeping the Marmot and the coaching staff but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt he has a plan in place to execute. Plus, I want him to succeed and the Cardinals to win. That doesn't necessarily have to be my way (though my way would be awesome).

Hey Brummer, let me guess, your way is EASY, OBVIOUS, CORRECT! Seriously, I am willing to give Bloom a couple of years if I see guys in AAA who are close to making the jump to fill holes and provide some pitching. I agree, keeping Marmol is just plain stupid. They could have at least hired Skippy at the minimum. They have to get an actual pitching coach.... Hopefully Jay stays as I think he did a good job. Anyway, next year will look a lot like this year most likely, but if some of the young talent does well in AAA and JJ has a good rookie year in the bigs... it will be trending up. Pitching cupboard is pretty bare right now, but there is an entire off season to see what happens. Will be interesting to see if ownership allows Bloom to sign anyone worth anything....

That was indeed BDWJr's icon, he wasn't going to pay Oli to sit on his a z z knowing 2026 was a throwaway season in Dewitt's eye's.

I've read that Bloom is Shabbat-observant. I don't have a problem with that but I've been on CT long enough to know some will raise the issue, probably after tough losses Friday night and Saturday.

Correct
The same first name as Gene Simmons from KISS, real name: Chaim Witz.
And he's FAR from another BDWjr stooge like that clown seems to think.
