Yesavage a carbon copy of early Wacha

Blue Jays starter Yesavage looks exactly like early Michael Wacha. Tall guy. Straight over the top delivery. High fastball and devastating change up. In Yesavage's case it is a splitter instead of change. The movement is about the same.
Hitters look completely baffled like they did against Wacha.

Is there a way to concoct a rant about how the Cards coulda and shoulda acquired Yesavage?

Shady said a few months ago we could've trade for him for Nado or Contreras...I can't remember which one...but that was his claim.

First they were going to get him for Phil Maton's expiring contract. Then it was Maton's expiring contract plus Gorman.

oh...it was Maton? Sorry...but I did remember he made a few Yesavage trade posts over a 3 or weeks. I just forgot the players involved.
Thanks...

The package of Maton's expiring contract plus Gorman was described as "a nice offer."

That proposed offer by Shady reminds me of a line from the song "Barely Breathing" by Duncan Sheik. "You must have thought that yesterday was the day that I was born." That's what Toronto's GM/POBO might sing in response to that "offer."
