Absolutely in NADO & Gary's case since one is fading the other has a huge $40M 2026 salary.

BUT WillyC is still a very good hitter and now an above average 1st baseman.

You don't pay when you trade a player like that, especially to a division rival

The way the team has jelled and played not sure why they would want WC. Adds drama they do not want or need.

They should not care if they trade in the division or outside the division.

I doubt they trade Contreras anywhere. That would leave them with Herrera as the ONLY guy who can hit LHP.
