Actually, from what I've read, Burleson might just be intelligent enough to pull it off. LOL Seriously, my guess is, either Pujols or Molina being hired, would have pumped up the fan base.

after larussa retired, tito was the right move, especially with what was still in st.louis on roster

Doesn’t matter. The knuckle draggers on this board will start to hate any manager after the first loss in Spring Training. Yadi should never become the Cardinals manager because of this.

I'd be more excited if they got a new owner. The deceased Marge Schott would be better.

Been saying this for months now:

Somehow C. Bloom is re-united (via trade) w/K. Cash!

That would excite the fan base and give the Cardinals a great manager. :D
