if we could get Mike Maddux with in it'd take them. Rangers had fewest runs allowed in MLB this season.

Get out the check book Mr DeWitt. Make it happen.

I would bet money Schumaker is their new manager.

Probably one more year of Marmol. Then a decision will be made.

I would imagine Buster Posey has the inside track should Bochy want to continue managing.

We will go Marmol to Molina. Just a matter of when.

I would hate that move. While I love Yadi, the Cardinals have not hired an experienced manager with even a single game of MLB Managerial experience in almost 30 years. Let for once this century hire someone with some MLB experience. We need to fire Marmol this season as they are losing the fan base and almost an entire generation of potential fans. This ship needs corrected soon to start rebuilding Mo’s disaster.

Not advocating for it. Just predicting it.

On second thought I just looked up Bochy's age. He is 70. Probably not the guy to manage a dump and rebuild. Would love to have Mike Maddux back although I think he lives just a few minutes away from the Rangers ballpark.

Back to the drawing board.

Yep Mo will be back for one more. And I don’t know why Bochy would want to come a rebuilding team. He’s the type of manager you hire when you’re ready to take the next step

At 70, he may just be ready for retirement.

Maddux left the Cardinals citing he wanted a change of pace. He returned to Texas where he has been a long time resident .
After taking a short time away , the Texans pursued him for pitching coach and since he didn't need to move for this gig, he took it .
I highly doubt at his age he would leave his home base down there. He likes Texas . Years ago, he attended U. Texas - El Paso
Mike is 64 years old.

John Farrell is also available. And several years younger than Bochy.

Dallas isn't really any closer to El Paso than Dallas is to STL. Texas is that big.
