Has There ever been a POBO/GM who has destroyed a historic loyal fan base like Johnny MO??
From standing room only crowds to a consistent smattering of 10K….that would embarrass the cites of Pitts, Cincy, Miami
With any Cardinals Fan that I run into around this town and out of town having the same sullen baffled angry and now apathetic talk of how this guy destroyed their summer pastime and childhood team……
What a legacy

Today is Mo's last day. Be kind if you can. LOL! He did much much better in his earlier days. The DeWitt's are also responsible but Mo let the minor league development really slide.

He's technically with us through the end of the World Series

There’s Scouty for ya!
Hates all the players but continues to defend the idiot who provides the players.
Because Scouty “is not an entitled fan”.

Where did I defend the FO?
I'm not a drama queen. To state that this franchise was destroyed is melodramatic.
Did I type that slow enough for it to sink in?

No, what Disney did to Star Wars nerds was worse, but similar.
Both have super loyal fanbases who throw money at them, and they gave both the finger, and then were confused when they finally gave it back

Nearly 30 years with the Cardinals. Some good years, some not so good years. It was time for a change. Good luck to Mo in the future. Excited to see what Bloom can do.

Mo was given the keys to a Ferrari and with him exclusively driving…..at the end of his adventure….he’s handing in a junker that needs to be towed back to the lot. Embarrassment, disgraceful, and again can anyone remember a worse from top to bottom decline by a FO exec in MLB?

Hoping to see a statue of him in front of Busch one day. Honestly
Because I can’t wait to drop a big steaming turd right on its feet.

The buck stops with the owner.....Bill DimWitt Jr wanted a YESman and that's what we got...I mean DimWitt dumped a proven winner for this clown whose early success was on the coat tails of Walt Jocketty's efforts.....
From WiKi....
During his time as Cardinal GM, the Cardinals compiled seven National League Central Division championships (1996, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006), two National League championships (2004 and 2006), and one World Series championship (2006). The Cardinals had seven straight winning seasons under Jocketty, including 100+ win seasons in 2004 and 2005. Jocketty won The Sporting News Executive of the Year Award three times, in 2000, 2004, and 2010.
Jocketty was fired by the Cardinals organization on October 3, 2007. Team owner Bill DeWitt cited divisiveness in the baseball operations front office as the reason for Jocketty's dismissal
Spring training begins 4.5 months from now....hope springs eternal

Let’s take a look at MO’s talent assessment prowess through this view
He made FA offers to
Stanton
Price
Heyward
Pujols
Leake
He signed or re-signed
Fowler
Carp
Holland
A. Miller
Cecil
And kept bringing back a worthless Yadi and Waino at 10-12mil/yr
Perhaps give him 1,2,3 blunders but this guy was BLIND when it came to MLB talent and/or his reports were some of the most incompetent baseball people alive.
