Cardinals are nowhere close to the Cubs in pitching or offense. Check the Cubs production and look at the Cardinals. Sorry, but we have a long ways t to go in the NLC.

So far the Cards are spreading joy. Suzuki samurai hits #30 as did Crow-Armstrong = virus.

80 million more of payroll could buy about four 2-3 WAR players to replace our negative-to-zero WAR players. The difference in records seem about right.
