Now hold the last playoff spot as they have the tie breaker over the Mets. A playoff spot was there for the taking this year.

If they miss the playoffs by a game, look no further than those three consecutive 1-0 losses early in the season. Where was Francina for those?

You pick 3 random games from early in the season? We can pick several where oli's crew looked ill prepared and disinterested. The fact is regardless of how the WC race goes this week, Francona has his team in position to make some noise. Oli has his team positioned to play out a meaningless last week. Big difference.

Not 3 "random" games. 3 CONSECUTIVE 1-0 losses.

Ok. So every team has losing streaks. What's your point?

Let's wait til all 162 games have been played . Reds on a 5 game win streak and Mets on a 2 game losing streak .
Both have 6 games remaining.

Reds host the Pirates 3 games Tues- Thurs
Mets @ Chicago Cubs " " " "

The final 3 games for each :

Mets @ Marlins
Reds @ Brewers

Don't forget how Oli played the "tired" card once again this year, and this year it was at the All-Star Break. Last year, I think it was just after a stretch of something like 14 straight days of games. And once again, this year, they played even worse when they were rested than they had at the end of their "tiredness."

Pretty sure both seasons that was the beginning of the end. This team is more pathetic than last year's, but Oli seems to bring nothing in preparedness considering how often they lack fundamentals and how tired they get.

Well most of us are 'tired' of Oli and what we've watched the last 3 years. Poor play, lack of accountability, and lame excuses. Get these clowns out of StL. Bring in people that know how to win and can do it.
