So if Bloom keeps Oli , will he be in the doghouse from the 'fire Oli' group ?

Would the 'fire Oli' group be so upset that Bloom would be doomed before any player personnel moves are made . Just wondering IF he keeps Oli, how that would play overall among the Cardinal fanbase. Unsure what the overall % of fanbase want Oli replaced at the end of this season.
What are your thoughts ?

Huge thumbs down. I can't stand the sight of his smirky face in the middle of losing. He has helped create a climate of "winning is optional." Gotta go,

I think any GM worth a flip is not influenced by the fan base..
The current regime has done that, and the results speak for themselves

Big whiff if Marmot stays. Will have dug a hole with many of Cardinal fan base. NOT the way to start the relationship with fans. Of course the obvious impact will be even fewer rear ends in the stands. Defies logic - even Cardinal ownership logic.

What I have learned is it doesn’t matter who manages the team, this board will despise the manager. Torre was considered clueless (I know, before the boards time), LaRussa was considered egotistical and people felt he made decisions to prove he was smarter than everyone else (people “loved” the pitcher batting 8th). They hated Matheny and Schildt.
The last non-hated Cardinals manager was Mike Jorgensen and he wasn’t here long enough to be hated.

It would definitely be a strike on him to keep oli in my opinion. I mean when a veteran player like arenado says the team comes to the ball park hoping for good things to happen on the field instead of expecting good things to happen on the field that is major blow against the manager. So oli obviously isn’t the solution that problem so they need to bring in the solution to cure the losers mentality the team has. So yea major strike if he brings him back

The Oli haters will just blame it on ownership.
The Bloom knob slobberers are already hedging their bets and blaming ownership. You can't miss them on here.
Bloom doom?

Imo Oli should go but not a hater.

Im not convinced it's Bloom's decision to make this offseason. DeWitt may allow him to make a decision on oli after 2026.

Well, it was easy to see that the ownership group did not care what the Mo and Marmol haters thought in 2025. I don't think 2026 will matter.
Bloom needs to have a skipper he has confidence in and will follow the model. Idk if Marmol is that guy.
I'm very curious to see what Bloom does first.

There is a recent rumor that President Mozeliak plans to pardon Chris Correa on his last day in office.
And by that, I mean I am starting the rumor now.

Ownership makes the call on manager, not Bloom.
And that is messed up.
The old man needs to let Bloom do his job.

You and others always claim that, but the recent attendance (particularly THIS season), would seem to put the lie to that. I'd guess there's less than a hundred (maybe many less) regular posters on here and surely there aren't enough of them to cause 30,000 empty seats every night.
