My guess is Gorman gets traded for a similar struggling Prospect but perhaps a pitcher. Walker has one more option he's going to the minors until he can earn his way back, if ever

Unless both miraculously hit .500 between now and the end of the season no way can they be on the starting roster next year.

In my 21 years of being a huge Cardinals fan this is literally the first and only time I've ever felt depressed for investing anytime at all into these losers. That's how bad they are.

It's over. They are designated busts.

I agree. Another team might be able to fix Walker but I doubt it.

Gorman is who he is. He will continue to strike out a lot and hit some home runs. Maybe he will hit 30 home runs on another team but he also might strike out 200+ times. His back isn't going to get better as he gets older.

I have had enough of Noot too.

There's no need to insult burnt toast. What did it ever do to you?

Walker needs to be sent to AAA next year and earn his way back. There is zero point in having him on the MaL roster next season given his track record.

With Gorman, one never knows if it's his lack of talent or a troublesome back (or both) that is responsible for his 0-fers with multiple Ks.

You have to feel a little bit of sympathy for them. The Cardinals have misled them into thinking they were major league hitters.

I said it before and I'll say it again. Neither of them should have come north with the team out of spring training.
It was as apparent in March as it is now.

I have never seen an MLB player as lost and clueless as Walker is. I really feel sorry for him. The Cardinals have totally messed him up and I don't think he ever gets close to his rookie season again. It is very sad.

He probably was never a MLer…..the league rather quickly figured him out and there nothing he can do about it. Same with Gorman

It's not like any of them are home run hitters or great defensively either, and they run these guys out there day after day. What kind of results are they expecting? It's surely not to win on a consistent basis.
