Oli has to go with what he's got. Leahy, Jo Jo, O'Brien, Alcala and Svanson all worked a lot in the Brewers series. Fernandes and Roycroft do not belong on an MLB roster.

And yet he still brings in Leahy to get 3 outs in the 8th. Why not just start Leahy out with the bases empty? Then probably 0 runs score.

I don't think this was on the manager. SPs going 4 innings caught up to the team tonight. What they could have done differently is let Liberatore go another inning. Wanting to save his precious quality start likely stopped that. Other than that, this bullpen was out of arms and it showed. That is why they need to acquire 2 experienced relievers in the offseason.

Well....this figured to be an “evaluation” period.
I think we’re done evaluating Roycroft and Fernandez?
