I admit I don’t understand a lot of things, but this year it seems to be the Cards against the Cards, mostly.
Thanks, Mort.

Agree. But this is really like spring training at this point.

Saggese at clean-up
They'll have to be careful with him. He's got the dangerous Nolan Gorman behind him.

Saggesse to 9 is supposed to be the "future" of the St. Louis Cardinals. What a f'n disaster. How Mo and his sidekick Oli managed to destroy this organization so quickly is remarkable. They can all go F themselves, especially Gorman and Walker, two of the biggest (if not THE biggest) busts in Cardinal history.
That's okay, though, Walker says "It's been a struggle, but watching my teammates hit, that's sick!"
Sick is right, but not the type he's referring to.

Entire starting IF from the start of this year is OUT ... No Arenado, Winn, Donovan, and Contreras pretty tough to be without those 4 guys and be competitive .

First M. Winn at cleanup and now Saggese, Oli showing his brilliance when it comes to making out a lineup card.
There isn't another manager in MLB history who would hit either of them in the cleanup spot.

It's obvious that the Cards are auditioning players for 2026 on where they may or may not fit. Gorman and Walker's futures are still up in the air. The only everyday players I think are a lock are Winn and Herrera. I do believe Saggese is a lock as utility type player. Not sure about the catchers position with so many good catchers in the organization.

Gorman just stood there last night and watched it fall
He seems very decisive on defense
