In two weeks the season ends but Mozeliak does not officially step down til end of October. Will be a lot of speculation on Oli's return for his final year or his dismissal.
Will something be announced on Oli the day after the season concludes ? a week later ? or Will the organization let things ride til after the World Series is concluded ?

Whether you think he will be canned or retained , how do you see the timing going down ?
The team has not been known for good PR timing . Wondering how this will be handled .

So as an example , if Bloom tells Oli privately he will be retained for 2026 at the end of September but no public announcement will be made til he officialy takes over (as you stated til Mo has cleaned out his office ) , will Goold and others in media who sometimes get inside info (leaks) report that Oli will be returning , will the Cardinals deny the reports ?

I don't know how well Bloom keeps secrets, so he might leak his plans.

I know that Mo obviously considers Oli an important part of his legacy and has zero respect for the media or the fans. So if he has his way, he'll go out saying viva la Marmol, everything is great.

On top of that, BDW is fanatically devoted to letting Mo have his way. He'll be on the side of staying shush.

Bloom leaking anything to the press would be a bold and unwise incursion into that sick relationship. Best to just let it die quietly.

They’ll announce an extension can’t having him feeling any pressure to win or be good at his job

I think the decision has already been made.

The only thing that changes the decision would be Oli raising a stink in the offseason for an extension.

Have not kept up with ticket sales & renewals dates. An already problem area for Cardinal organization should get worse if Marmot is back in 2026. Doubt they care how much they PO the cash cows.

Everyday it isn't announced the day after the season ends the percentages go down drastically.

The annual organization meeting and the end of the WS are the two most likely time frames.

The decision has been made. It will be implemented when the man in charge of the money fives the nod. So probably at the end of next season. BDW does not eat $$.
