How in the world is Bloom gonna be able to improve this team? No FA gonna come to St Louis and there are absolutely no players worth anything on the 40 man roster except for Wynn.

Absolute trash. Firing Marmol would be just like making a big trade.

No super star on this team
Arenado is getting old. Let's hope he can bounce back some
I doubt he is traded
WC or Gray I don't expect them to wave their nt clause

Here's the thing that people still can't wrap their minds around. This is going to take time. Even with Bloom in charge next year is probably going to be worse than this one. I don't look for this team to even start turning the corner until 2027. Then you might get a competitive team a year or two after that. There is no quick fix for the mess DeWitt and Mo created.

You said it, Dewey. Mo let this organization rot from the inside out. Bloom and Cerfolio have a lot of non-MLB-roster-related rebuilding to do. MLB wins and losses will not be a top priority for 2-3 years.

Sad. My dad is 90 years old. Die hard cardinals fan. Probably hasn't missed a game on tv since he retired. Would have loved him to watch a few more playoff runs

I’m afraid addition by subtraction is all we have to look forward to this offseason.

Bloom probably has his eyes on some moves once he finally takes over but probably not much immediate impact because he won’t have much to trade as has been pointed out.

I know prospects is how the team will be rebuilt but hard to get excited until they get close to the bigs and start banging on the door like Wetherholt.

Probably in for another down year or two.
