Curve and Slider both catch the top of the zone to get the K for the last out....4 batters, no fastball was in the zone....missing glove side with the fastball and high. 2 contacts on the fastball were off the plate....barely off the plate. It's like he's trying to hit a bulls eye in the upper glove side quadrant...leaves himself no room for error

an adjustment this offseason...of some sort, should fix the release of his fastball and the strikes thrown with that pitch will improve. That's how close he is to being a dominant starter in the big leagues.

Good news...I guess from me? It's easier said than done, but he's extremely hard worker, and always is watching tape of his delivery. A good pitching coordinator should be able to help him.

K on a change up, set up by better fastball control.
