He's done a miserable job but sadly it does appear BDWJr is going to keep him in place since he's paying him for 2026.

I understand that DeWitt has to pay Marmol whether he manages the Cardinals next year or not. I think it would cost DeWitt more money to keep Oli than to let him go. DeWitt has lost a large portion of the fan base. I believe that DeWitt would be better off bringing in a new manager that would give hope to the fans. In my opinion this is one of the first steps to getting people to return to Busch Stadium.
