Maybe he could try and stick around a couple of more years and try to get to 400 HRs but who knows he may not
Want to

I hope he plays another year.
That 1.060 OPS vs LHP is intriguing.
He could definitely land another MLB contract, though maybe like 5mil.
Maybe he has a big postseason and gets more.

I hope he retires. Always hate seeing once great players being a shell of themselves.

If there's anyone around I'd like to see get a ring it would probably be Goldy!! Maybe McCutchen!

True, but Pujols was a shell of himself before he came back to St. Louis. That 2nd half of '22 was very entertaining. One of the few fun stretches to watch in the past decade.
Goldschmidt isn't Pujols though. So there's also that.

You said it for me on that last line.

He is hitting .277 with 10 homeruns. Will take at least three more seasons. At which he will be right at 2500 hits and 400 home runs.

Why's that?
He can still be an asset as a PT 1st baseman/DH and is having a solid year in NY:
.277 .328 .417 .745
107 OPS+

Definitely. Someone will give him a bench role at least though for LHP.

Yankee Stadium is killing Goldschmidt but on the road he's still strong as bull. Someone will notice.
PG at home: 222/288/335, 71 wRC+
PG on the road: 328/367/491, 137 wRC+
btw, Goldschmidt turns 38 today. Happy birthday Paulie!
