Was Yadi back in the dugout today?
Been out.

He was in town for the weekend festivities.
Nothing else.
The idea that he would be "coaching' was pure propaganda from the marketing team.

Thanks, Mel.

So I did see him in the dugout at the end of the game?

Another informed and dumb statement. You should really observe and learn.

I saw him hanging around a couple of times.
He was not "coaching".
He was a guest - nothing more.

Yadi actually took out the line up card for both Friday and Saturday’s games. He was in the dugout for both games, I’m not sure about today. Curiously, I did not see him, nor was he introduced at the Cardinal Hall of Fame ceremonies.

50 seconds into the "game recap" Yadi can be seen holding up a left handed 3 and a right handed 0. He is standing next to Marmol.

A wanted or a unwanted guest?
After all no real reason to have unwanted
repeating guest.

A repeated PR propaganda stunt.

PR all the way. Zero impact strategically or he would’ve been here weeks before doing prep work.

However, I don’t think it was a PR stunt to dupe Cardinal fans. It was a PR move made on behalf of Yadi as a favor to an old friend who gave a lot to the team.

He really wants to break into the MLB managerial ranks and doesn’t want to be pigeon-holed as an assistant for decades like Oquendo. Seeing him running things for a minute on TV paints him in the light he wants to seen in and stirs conversation.

That alone has no gain.
The Cards might, who am I kidding, the Cards would do that
but why would Yadi when he hasn't a fondness towards MO?

Yadi needs more reason than that. He's attempting something
if nothing more to be included in the dugout, JMO.
