Contreras' Suspension Starts Today

Contreras' suspension starts today, and was reduced from six to four games. I can't recall another instance MLB took this long (ten days) to adjudicate an appeal. Much ado for a player on a team going nowhere. I guess Gorman takes 1B.

Mets arent thrilled as he misses 3 games against GIants, their closest wild card pursuant.
Giants are only 4 back.

Could Burly be back in the lineup tonite? I read that his condition is improving and, I believe, he was taking some batting practice. He'll, likely, forgo a rehab assignment. It mentioned that he would likely be back in the the lineup next week.

I thought he deserved the 6 games he initially received.
