Bloom's managerial decision

Does Marmol really deserve to be retained? That is something Bloom needs to ponder. And, I'd think he is doing that with serious contemplation for the future of the Cardinals. Obviously, It is very likely the most important decision he'll need to make for the time being. And It could go a long way in Bloom establishing credibility. One way or the other.

He returned from his 38th moderator imposed timeout. But gosh darnit he's a different man this time. By the weekend the board will be littered with Burleson and Saggese topics, as well as a whiny sense of entitlement. At least his OP required only five edits to get his brilliant points across.

Edited version: It is important Bloom consider the manager position.

Just for the record, before all the edits, he was asking if Marmol deserves to be rehired.

Does he deserve to be retained? Depends on what the organization uses as his evaluation tool.

1. Winning and leading an exciting baseball team? No.

2. Keeping the seat warm during a non-competitive stretch? Yes.

Don’t care for Marmol.
Not the guy to lead the team long term.
Yet amazed the team is only 1 game under .500 with this roster and all the injuries of late.

Only 7 teams in NL have winning records. Not like the league is a juggernaut.

Fair point Juan - still not sure how they’re this close to .500
