Good morning.

I have no idea what fritillary means. Just popped up. I liked it. Hope it works.

World Series played. We are rapidly approaching a franchise record. Last played in series in 2013. That’s 12 years. Franchise record is 18 years. 46-1964.

Question -will we make a WS before we set new team record.

Last WS win was 2011. That’s 14 years. The team record is 24 years. That’s ten years left to win WS or set record.

Question- will we go 10 more years without WS win.

Many here are troubled by the team. However when you see that WS appearances at 12 years, you are in affect going thru a similar lull, like the record 1946-1964. It’s turning out the 2020’s is the new 1950’s. Nothing.
I can see ur angst.

There ya go.

Mornin Doggie... They have to have a top end team by 2030, which is certainly possible if the minor league system produces, some good trades are made, ownership brings payroll back to where it was, and they get good quality manager, hitting, and pitching coaches. Sure, it is possible to really competitive by 2030. But making the WS involves some luck too. A relatively injury-free season, and the team getting healthy and hot in September. As we all know, the best regular season teams don't always even make it to the WS. So I would say maybe..., but not great odds

You got it. Just looking at numbers, any WS appearance from us looks several years away. Plus a walk out. Very well more approach the seventies/nineties type decade.

Technically. But they do seem to float around the .500 mark.

My attempt at humor.

I see us at 12 years today. The record for no appearance is 18 years. I don’t truly see us there in 3 years. That’s 15 years of vacancies. A decade and a half.

We are very close to the 70’s/90’s.

Let's just hope the Cards don't start migrating South like the Midwest Monarchs have just started doing on their annual migration to just South of the border.

Could you say they flew south for the winter.
