He will stay. HIs job is to help the youngsters develop. Gorman is looking better. Saggase looks good, several of the relief pitchers are working out fine. You can't judge by wins and loses.

Is it poor coaching or lack of MLB talent? Or a combo of the two?

I think the staff is very average………and it’s a very weak roster….so it is both…

But if I had to pick one….it’s on the players…and it’s not close..

Combo
They obviously need upgrades in talent especially the rotation.
But....I still need someone to tell me what positive quality Oli brings to the team?
I would be ok with Brown for one more year as he just started.
Mixed feelings on Blake.
And they could drag a fan out of the stands every game to replace Pop!
Of course if Oli goes then the new guy brings his own staff.

Not sure why our friend wants to retain particular coaches if marmol goes…

But if they replace marmol, the new guy will want his own people……so they are all gone anyway..

I think he stays. I’ve heard some reporters and radio guys say Bloom has seemed pretty invested in him this season.

They really should clean house and he should go. But since they won't be competitive till 2027 or 2028, he probably stays till then.
