One of the corresponding moves: Alec Burleson (wrist) will be placed on the 10 day IL.

Well, in Shady's defense, he's a pathological narcissist, so in his mind it's
always about him. In the end, Burly's just another disposable "fine young prospect" to be used as a pretext/vehicle for seeking attention.

You know, a lot of us are on the same page about a lot of this and lots of other changes. What are we really waiting for. The team isn’t very good so why do we keep running the same junk out there. Let’s get a look at some of the new guys who are probably going to be here next March anyway. Church, Crooks, Wetherholt, McGreevy. Let’s see what they are about. Burly to the IL. Donovan, Winn to the IL? Go ahead. Gorman, Walker, Crooks, Wetherholt, Church, Prieto, Saggese, let’s see them every day in September.

Yeah, or try to use him as a throw in with a trade of Donovan or Nootbaar in the offseason.
I would actually give Pallante another year, but shut him down this year. His arm is just shot this year, but he is still only 26/27 and has far more ability that Mikolas.
