No doubt Wetherholt has the athleticism to play CF. Other teams have shifted gifted athletes from infield to CF. ex. Mickey Mantle was a shortstop that moved to CF.

Two horrible ideas. If Gorman can cut down on the Ks, Gorman at 3B, Donovan 2B, Saggese utility, Burleson LF or 1B (if Contreras can be traded), Wetherholt CF. Trade Nootbaar for pitching help.

JJ would be a better LFer than Burleson. And Burleson could land an arm, putting the team in better shape.
Gorman doesn’t have to cut down on Ks. Especially if his BB rate stays as is.

Now you knew that statement was going to put you on the wrong side of Shady. Good job!!!!! For the record, I agree, JJ in LF would make the team better then JJ in CF. Now whether have him in LF instead of 2B....... I don't know. That would put either Donovan, Burly or Ivan in LF. I like Donovan at 2b (or just about anywhere on defense). Burly is a LFer only because they showed him where LF is, kinda like Duncan.
Before JJ (or Ivan) get moved to LF they need some minor league time out there.

Gorman has struggled to make accurate throws to 1B. If Nado is trade and the cards go with Gorman at 3B, I hope his throws to 1B can be fixed. Right now I see him more as a DH or traded.
