Bizarro world move. The Brewers don't have anybody in their vaunted development system to cover innings for September? In a playoff run?? They signed Fedde for 1 year???

It's odd. They're probably thinking that once they clinch, he can "eat innings" while their starters rest for the playoffs? But they're only 6.5 games up on the Cubs, so...

If he wins one or two games, he is a good bargain.

Probably don't want to start the clock on their next wave of Cy Young candidates and want to rest their arms for the playoffs.

And considering the voodoo they practice these days, Fedde will likely go undefeated in a Breweres uniform.

Oh yeah ... I am just 'happy' the Cards are out of it already so when Fedde shuts the Cards down next month I won't really care cuz it won't matter. It'll just be another loss amongst the many many other losses.
