A little heavy on jargon in part--"Wetherholt’s intentionality" and understanding "how his frame operates on the field"--but a good look at a young player learning his craft and preparing for his future.
Here's JJ and Nathan.
h/t David Laurila's Sunday column at Fangraphs.

Notice "data" being mentioned all throughout the interview along w/ "hawkeye system"?
C. Bloom system is in place and players are taking to it!
I also thought this was interesting, "...maybe if I play as an outfielder".
Could he get some reps in CF?
From the piece:
When it comes to the conversation surrounding Wetherholt’s makeup, a trend you pick up on quickly is the observation that
he plays beyond his years. An observation scouts and executives alike seem to agree has produced a young man who plays the game a little differently.
“You don’t see that type of makeup often,” a National League scout said. “He’s just built differently. It’s hard not to get excited about a kid like that.”
He should be starting at 2nd base today in Tampa......................idiot Mo.

Should be at 3b. And should be 3b on Opening Day next year.

Wetherholt bat would be ideal for CF. He seems to be a very smart player as well with athletic ability. He has good traits to be an above average CF. He may never win a gold glove but that bat would be great for CF. Its extremely hard to find a productive bat that plays CF.

I do remember that being discussed earlier in the season. That might solve some puzzles for this club.

If that kid can play CF, it would help the team a lot. His bat looks like it'd play almost anywhere.

And now M. Winn has knee problems and we still can't get JJ up here?

He'll be the starting 2nd baseman on OD.
3rd will be manned by NADO (unless dealt) and/or N. Gorman.

Oh man CB.
If he took to CF and was solid (+ DRS/+ OAA) it would be the start of correcting one of Mo's biggest failures, building an OF that can actually hit.
Let's see if Bloom/Cerfolio do something in STing, having him play multiple games in CF would be ideal!
