Church gets two hits one a home run and then sits.

Looking like a 3 hour type delay per radar
Last visit in there - they will wait it out unless both teams would rather just play 161 this year, Cards won’t wanna fly back for one game makeup

Oli has a habit of sitting a young player the game after they seem to get something going.
He’s done it with Walker and Gorman a few times.
Now it’s Church’s turn.

It's a little damp here in Pinellas County but we need it. Across the Bay in Tampa it looks similar. Even if the rain quits around 3:30-4:00 I don't know if Steinbrenner has drainage systems anything like an MLB park. Since neither team is in serious contention I think it will be called.

I made a similar post earlier in this thread. Let him hit against a left hander. See what he has, we know he is a much better outfielder than Noot.

This is exactly what I have been saying about JJ. He will not get consistent at bats. Oli will think his bench time is as important as his play time. Thus we still DON’T see him every day at his rhythmic best.

Might it be that Oli doesn’t believe in Church on Sundays ?

We desperately need a manager who can remember Cal Ripken’s playing days.
