Who will be sent down?

When Arenado, Donovan and Scott are activated. Any chance for Saggese and Church to remain with the Cardinals?

Fermin is first down when an IF comes back. I believe Hampson is somehow still on this team? So yeah I can't believe they'd demote Church before DFAing him.
But I've been stunned many times in recent memory by this team's roster decisions.

When are they ready
September 1st we can add one pitcher and a regular player

With STL out of any reasonable pathway to the 6th playoff spot, there is no reason for Hampson to stay on the roster.
It would be a gift to the player for STL to release him before September 1.

Probably.
Very difficult to find PA's for 15 position players in the DH era.

September 1. I doubt both Saggesse and Church remain. My guess is Church gets sent down and a pitcher is called up.
