If Wetherholt continues his fine hitting through August for Memphis. He needs to be brought up after the Sept 1 deadline for counting as a MLB season for the Cardinals.

If the Cards don't have a realistic chance at a wildcard. He should get time at both 2B and 3B. Looking toward to future, mostly play Saggese at 2B and Wetherholt at 3B. By now, the Cardinals should know what they have or Gorman, Arenado and Donovan.

Saggese defense has to make major improvement and what are you doing with Donovan looking forward?

Listen, man.

Every spot on our 40 man roster is taken up by legit MOTO bats, TORP ace pitchers, and guys who'll shut down the back end of the bullpen. There's clearly no space for JJ.

Can you imagine where we'd be without the likes of Sem Robberse, Michael Siani, and Garrett Hampson this year!?

If jackass Mo was still around next year, Wetherholt would probably spend 2026 in Memphis as well. He'd keep that clock from starting as long as possible.

What does the standings have to do with it? Playing JJW everday IS our best chance of climbing in the standings.
