A while back I got blasted for posting that McGreevy was the Cardinals most consistent starting pitcher

And I'll reiterate that McGreevy is indeed just that.

He has 9 starts so far this year.
I'd say Church is our most consistent hitter.

That's absurd. So you don't agree that McGreevy is the Cardinals most consistent starting pitcher. If not McGreevy, who is?

It was Fedde, who was consistently pounded, or Gray who has consistently won.
Next year I'm going with Quinn Matthews. I'm on his hype train right now.
His own control seems to be his biggest adversary.
Gray, Mathews, Liberatore, McGreevy, Pallante is the starting point for next season, IMHO. That's already better than this season.
I recommend signing a #4 starter though because we have no depth. Henderson, Hansen, Mautz could add to the LHSP parade late in 2026 though. Then the hordes of rehabbing righties return for 2027 along with another LHSP Doyle.
If we were going big, then sign a #1, but I'm not seeing that happening. See how i set myself up to be happy with a #3?
Gray is leaving in 2027 or 2028. Pallante gone in 2029. Inevitable injuries will take out a few more. Poor performance a few more.

The Cardinals winning % is incredible for games McGreevy has started. It was mentioned on tonite's telecast.

I believe I posed the question as to if McGreevy could be the ace. Get your chit together. You can't just twist things like you've done in the past.

You say stupid things, you admit to this.
You don't get to run a lap or pound your chest on this.
Sorry. Not really

You have a nasty habit of twisting things around. Actually, what you've pulled now and in the past is rather stupid.

McGreevy seems like a Mikolas type to me. Could be a little better than Mikolas so I'm not saying that is his ceiling. Needs find that Waino grit.
Mikolas had multiple pretty good seasons. McGreevy could have more since he got his act together earlier.
His key will be not walking guys and being able to go deep into games due to lower pitch counts. Make the other team get 2 or 3 hits in an inning just to score 1 run. Don't give up hits in flurries.
Pallante and Hudson walked too many. McGreevy has an advantage over them.

McGreevy found a Cutter last year...it works most of the time to LHB. That's helped him find success.
It helps to have pretty good defense up the middle, too. He has to rely on that alot

Is your ego really so fragile that you need to be affirmed by a bunch of strangers on an online forum?
