Pretty sure he publicly said that he won’t bring him up this year.

You are correct. But I stopped believing anything John boy says.

Never underestimate Mo's stupidity.

And Oli's either, he'd probably still start Saggesse at 2nd and keep JJW on the bench.

If he did start him, then he hit him eighth.

I don't want him mingling and taking advice from this dumb[ash] coaching staff.

Hopefully Bloom's first action is getting rid of Oli & Co. Then he can start fresh with a new crew. If he doesn't get rid of Oli then I'll be rooting for his departure just like I did Mo. If he doesn't even have enough influence to get ownership to cut Oli and let him choose his own manager then he must have been pretty desperate for a job.

Jose fermin has had a .924 and .928 ips in memphis the last 2 seasons. I dont think anybody is clamoring for him to get more starts.

What’s the rationale of NOT giving him ML experience
I think I read that 8/25 is the magical date

They won't start his service time clock this season.

Keep him down. Let him finish on a great high note.

Then promote him early ‘26

Why not shake the MLB butterfly’s the remainder of year??? I don’t see a downside. If he struggles you know to leave him incubate in AAA longer next season

Yes, early… like start him on Opening Day ! No bigger thrill for a kid to make his MLB debut.

I remember back to 1974 when Brewers started their rookie SS on Oprning Day. What a great buzz/excitement at the stadium as the 18 year old was making his debut.
You may have heard of that kid..Robin Yount
Went on to become Hall of Famer.
Let JJ start 2026 . Start the year with fan excitement. This franchise needs it.

And why wouldn’t you want him to gain some experience NOW…..presumably helping his start next season? I don’t see the downside. Enlighten me
