His 2nd error of the game is going to lead to getting swept.

JJW has got to be better than this, right?

Cards desperately trying to get something of value from their 2023 dump of players...Prieto, Rom, Roby, Kloffenstein, and Robberse have all bombed and/or got hurt. Saggesse is the only one left.

What about this year’s trade deadline haul?

Mo made the deals. Are you optimistic?

Most low minors guys. The one guy at AAA may have some power potential, but who knows.

Baez 0-6 today and hitting about a buck fifty since joining Peoria.

We'll have to wait a few years to see...I know they gave away Maton for nothing, Hales is garbage

What position will JJ play? This team needs better defense. Saggese isn't great at fielding and at times seems to have mental lapses. Gorman can't play third. He was ok at 2nd. Donovan's best position is probably 2nd and JJ has played a lot at 2nd. If the Cardinals trade Arenado or he decides to retire then we have a huge hole at 3rd. My hope is that JJ can fill that hole but he has played very little at 3rd since his freshman year.

We have too many 2nd basemen and catchers. We need someone who can play 3rd assuming Arenado is traded and we could use some better outfielders. This team needs help with starting pitching as well. Maybe Bloom will trade some of our surplus and fill in some holes.

I was told yesterday he has power to burn and just you wait, mister!

What surplus? Donovan only good player out of all those guys. Bloom will get very little for the others.

Mozeliak loves him some quantity. Forget about quality.

Saggase had a terrible 9th inning. Until then he has been a good fielder. He is a young player who screwed up in a big way in this game. I'm sure it is the first time in history that a MLB player made 2 errors in an inning. By all means his career should be over and his entire defense measured by that one bad inning.

Thank you Bob for your voice of reason! Sadly, I’m sure it will fall on many deaf ears!

I like Saggese and just about every player will have games like he had in the field today. In saying that I think he will probably be a utility player most of his career.
It's a shame that all we have to show for the players Mo traded off at the 2023 trade deadline is a future utility player and a couple often injured minor league pitchers.

Possibly two years from now you may be writing… Baez is the only one left of the 2025 dump off.
