Shildt is better than oli. But he wouldn't have this roster in the playoffs either. I think Johnny bow ties should have to finish the season managing the messed up roster he produced. He could make mound visits in his preppy sweater and loafers.

Take a look at the Padres lineup and it is clear why they are competing for first place. There is no manager who could turn this team into a WS contender/
