He's getting pretty slick, defensively, there.

So, is it OK for me to post on one of your threads now? Or is it just a one way street?

You wish. The organization loves him as a player and a teammate.

That's part of the problem with the organization as it's current run. And the organization will be going thru changes this off-season.

He’s perfect for this organization, cost controlled and clearly not good enough.
You can’t truly compete with a 1b or RF/LF who scores 50 runs has 15 HR and 60 RBI, .775 OPS
Obviously that’s where you want you 30/100 guy

The 2028 1B is likely not on their 40-man at the moment. The Cardinals need to aim higher at a non-premium defensive position if they want to escape baseball purgatory.

What do you mean by “future”? Conteras has a couple more years on his contract, so are you’re asking if Burly is the 1B of 2028 and beyond?

1st XBH in nearly 3 weeks.
It was an awesome hit, and I'm extremely happy for him.
But a chest pounding thread wasn't needed to celebrate his 1st XBH in nearly 3 weeks.

and why would you remove a .993 fielding % 1B in Contreras for a .987 fielding % 1B in Burleson?
And how is that .987 fielding % at 1B "Slick"??
Out of the 44 players with 200 plus innings at 1B, Burleson is ranked 42nd.
