Ownership's handling of the transition makes no sense

Senile DeTwit has lost control...by allowing Mo-ran another season as a lame duck

I feel like the Cards have made some really important decisions the last 15 years of so that has nothing to do with winning.

In my opinion, Mo is STILL here to save face. If DeWitt fired him last offseason, Mo would've been fired a year before his contract ended. Instead, Mo is allowed to retire/leave on his 'own' terms as if it were his idea.

This thread is about dragging dumb[ash] Mo through this season when you've hired Bloom to shape the future of the ball club.

We need to fix our broken system! But not now. We should definitely wait til next year for new guidance. Mo's comfort is priority 1.

He's snobbish and arrogant and letting his punchable face be the face of the franchise was a huge mistake.

Yeah it was strange when they announced this arrangement and it hasn’t gotten any better. This year was a complete throwaway, both from the perspective of competing, and developing, all because of ownership’s inability to move on and implement a plan for the future without letting emotions get in the way.

Hopefully once MO is gone we will see Bloom start to change the culture from front office down while showing ownership that there is a better way to run the organization and they’re silly for waiting so long to make a change.

I guess we'll just have to see how it plays out.

So it takes Buster Olney to convince some of you dolts that this is the one of the most phucked up ways to handle this transition…..that’s ever been witnessed by BASEBALL PEOPLE…..in modern baseball…..
And some of you will still defend this historic cluster going on right in front of your eyes 8O
“Well didn’t you know…….Bloom was given the contract to be POBO, BUT Mo will stay here and HE will make decisions that affect BLOOM when BLOOM takes over from MO at end of season…..NOT 1 Minute before…..MO’s still in CHARGE”, said in the most sarcastic way possible.
This is a cookoo chitshow cubed.

Pulses change so fast in baseball. Last year I was seeing all this stuff about how people like Peter Bendix are the problem with baseball, this year he's an innovator. Again let's just let it play out. Buster Olney is not the end all be all.

But we are over .500 which puts on track for another "successful" season.

One last feather in Mo's cap!!

What not to do in organizational management.

As I've said many times, this falls upon the chairman.

And their hockey brothers are letting Stein take over after a year of just watching.

If you watch that clip he 100% lays the blame on ownership

And these national guys go pretty easy on clubs so as not to tarnish the MLB brand……perhaps ESPN doesn’t care anymore….dropping MLB
