I still don’t get why they have Donovan leadoff against a LHP. He has a .287 OBP/.600 OPS vs LHP this season. He has a career .325 OBP/.648 OPS vs LHP.

And then you put Burleson in the 4th spot, too. With a career .577 OPS vs LHP. 2 of the 4 spots that will have the most PAs in the game go to terrible players vs LHPing.

They're trying to manage his inning accumulation since he's been mismanaged before this year, so that's the main reason I think why they are pulling him early in his starts.

Doesn’t help that he has a 5.23 ERA in his last 5 starts and 5.18 ERA in his last 10. He’s not missing enough bats. He has 4 K’s in his last 4 starts.

+1 totally botched his development. It was a Mo special

If we had another starter , I would skip Liberatore every other time rest of the season. At least give him extra days between starts

More weather tonight. But it is spotty so who knows, maybe it'll miss the rain magnet that is Busch Stadium.
