Miles 7th inning……thin 1run lead…..Nobody up in pen…..waits until lead lost to remove Miles
Miles always has an expiration inning where he blows up quickly…..I don’t care if he’s throwing a no-hitter against Rocks…..7th inning you have to have someone warming up.
Oli is not smart and not a winning manager.

Correct.
And we couldn't add on with RISP and less than 2 out was it 3 innings in a row? Although, at least the light hitting VS2 DID try to lay down a safety squeeze. We just didn't execute well. Right call, wrong outcome. Keep working on it.

Oli isn’t the only one.
Francona left Andrew Abbott into blow a 1-0 lead yesterday late against the Phillies. Pretty sure Francona is a winning manager.

Can you think of a good reason to have no one up …..Miles pitching with a one run lead in 7th?
I don’t really post about single games…..its the mindset and strategy throughout the season that make or break a team.
Over and over he comes up short….sure Donny came up and pulled out the win late against a 30 win team…… not really the point though

I didnt like the management in the 7th inning.
I did like the timing of donovan pinch hit followed by pozo pinch hit(even though pozo got robbed that almkst payed off as well)

Both were 1-0 games. I don’t care who the pitcher is, you should have someone ready to come in late in the game. And in the Reds case they let Abbott give up 3 hits and 2 runs in the 8th inning before pulling him.

Completely different variable.
Miles is a blowup waiting to happen who probably wouldn’t be in any other rotation in MLB…..

Judging by Twitter I’d say it’s no different. Francona got some heat on twitter for it.
Both were stupid. Both can be stupid. Even winning and good managers can be stupid.
Oli is probably stupid much more often though.

I’m not astute enough to be critical of a manager’s moves. I just enjoyed the come from behind win.

About some things, but not about some iof the strategic moves by a manager. Just never took a great interest in that. Different strokes.

You don’t have the capacity to understand having a BP active in the 7th inning of a 1run game with Miles pitching??
