Runners at third

I queried the stat guys a couple weeks back and they said that the Cards were 4th best at getting runners in from third with less than 2 out. I just find that hard to believe. I have been keeping track and through the La, chicago and tonight’s game they are 5-16. Tonight alone they were 0-4. They could easily add 10 victories if they just hit the ball in those situations. If they are good, then it is unacceptable 30% or so, pathetic.

Also Nolan G is not a major league third baseman. 3 errors in two nights and 6 in very limited duty at third. If you are worried about him hitting 30 homes if traded then keep him, but at second base. He is not great there but much better than at third. He couldn’t make a perfect throw to first if his life depended on it ( except during infield warm up.

He seems to have the yipps over there. Looks worse on plays where he has more time. Like he's thinking about a bad throw before releasing the ball.
