Gorman should be playing everyday along with Walker. Cards need to make decisions on those two for the 2026 season.

Could be but I feel like it’s more a lefty/lefty thing. Big leaguers have to hit righties and lefties. He’s only got 277 plate appearances in his career against lefties. Needs to learn sometime.

Our leadoff hitter has a .291 OBP vs LHP with a .609 OPS and our 4th hitter has a .284 OBP and .648 OPS vs LHP.

It’s a good thing the Cubs aren’t starting a LHP against us or Oli would be really dumb.

Since we started playing the Cubs in June, we have gone 16-22; we were 42-36 prior to that series. And went to 8 games over with wins in the first two games. 8 under since those two games.

I don’t get starting Hampson, he has nothing to do with the team going forward. I’d rather see Noot in CF getting some more AB’s.
