From Sept. 12-21, the Cardinals will play the Brewers 6 times ( 3 home & 3 away ) , then the final 3 games in Sept. 25-27 the Redbirds will play the Cubs 3 at Wrigley to end the year.
Currently , the Brewers are 4 ahead of the Cubs but should the race be tighter than that for the final weekend, the Cardinals / Cubs series may be a lot of fun to watch.
BTW the Brewers also end the season at home vs the Reds . They are currently in the hunt for a final wildcard birth.
A dream scenario ... rookie JJ Wetherholt drives in go-ahead run or HR in top of the 9th and Cardinals close the game to knock the Cubbies out .
