The DSL squad walked 8 times in the 1st inning....they lead the DSL YankeesBlue 13-4 in the 4th. DSL Cards have walked 12 times, HBP 2 times...6 hits.
The game started nearly 2 1/2 hours ago...only in the 4th inning

the system went 4-0 last night while I took the night off.
maybe I should stay away until the streak is broken
I'm watching the games tonight....good pitching lineup....Mathews, Henderson, Savacool, Odle

Crav, if Matthew’s has another good game, do you think he could pitch the next start for Miles?

Not Crav, but I would like to see a run of at least 5 or 6 starts where Mathews keeps his walks down before calling him up. If he has an August of starts like his last start then maybe you consider a September callup. But he has yet to have even a run of 2 consecutive starts with his walks down let alone a good run of 5 starts.

He had 9 walks over 7.2 IP in his previous 2 starts before his last start, so I’d say no.
The last time he went back to back non-rehab starts with 2 or less walks was August 17 and 23rd of last year in AA.

RHP Ian Bedell (AAA) has been activated from the 7-day IL.
RHP Zach Plesac (AAA) has been placed on the Development List.
RHPs Antoni Cuello, Ruben Menes & Edwin Nuñez have been transferred from the FCL to Palm Beach (A).
RHPs Charles Harrison & Nolan Sparks (A) have been placed on the 7-day IL.
RHP Keiverson Ramirez has been transferred from Palm Beach to the FCL.

Great, that's what the Palm Beach Cardinals really need...3 very bad relievers. Keep them in the FCL or release them.
