It was disappointing seeing major league hitters unable to catch up to Ohtani's fastball. Yes he throws hard but there wasn't a lot of movement on his fastball.

yes he is fun to watch
especially at bat
(when not facing the Cardinals)

I enjoy watching him when on base. He always seems to be having fun with the infielders. He seems very likable.

That 99 mph fastball at the top of the zone (or bit above ) had movement .. Noot would probably tell us .. all forward movement !

Had the pleasure of being at the game in Dodger Stadium. They gave out hefty replica Ohtani WS rings at the door.Then Ohtani hits a HR for his 1000th hit. Then he strikes out 8 Cardinals. And…after all that…Caedinals come back for a win. Excellent day, even in the heat.

Worth the money. Hope he stays healthy for at minimum 3-4 years. Hes a lot of fun to watch.

Nootbaar isn’t the right guy to ask about hitting. He’s not good at it no matter who is pitching.
