They’ve also actually done better against plus .500 teams.
How? Luken hit 5 homers
So OldRed spent a couple/few pages trying to support a sarcastic argument?Idaho Cards wrote: ↑05 Aug 2025 00:36 am Sorry the sarcasm of "AAA team" is so far fetched, it lacks the punch you are trying to deliver. The difference between AAA baseball and MLB is ginormous; one could say the Cardinals are an average to slightly below average MLB team.
The rub is: with the tradition and $$$$ they possess, they should be a better MLB organization.

It’s an interesting thread, because a long time Cardinal fan has called out our players as “AAA players”. Even those youngish players who deserved to be called up from AAA and are in the process of learning what it takes to succeed at the highest level.
The Cards won so you'll be hearing about it!OldRed wrote: ↑05 Aug 2025 06:48 amI was serious and I'm still serious.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑05 Aug 2025 06:18 amI don’t know that he was being sarcastic, he might be serious.AnExParrot wrote: ↑05 Aug 2025 06:13 amSo OldRed spent a couple/few pages trying to support a sarcastic argument?Idaho Cards wrote: ↑05 Aug 2025 00:36 am Sorry the sarcasm of "AAA team" is so far fetched, it lacks the punch you are trying to deliver. I love baseball. A lot can happen over the course of a long 162 game regular season. .500 teams will beat World Series champions along the way. Great start by Gray.
