Wetherholt at 3B, Blaze at 1B today

While I’m in no way an ardent follower of the minor league teams, I do check in on the Cards lower level teams from time to time. It’s nice to see that the Memphis Redbirds are doing well at 57-48. Same with Springfield at 63-38. Those are the most important teams, in my opinion, because the MLB team likely will be fed from those two. The other 4 minor league teams are mostly development groups: D-Cards are 22-22, Palm Beach is 48-51, Peoria is 40-60 and PMB is 48-50. Hopefully those who came to the Cards at the trade deadline and those who were recently drafted will help spark a resurgence with some of the teams.
