And before his five year run at 20/20, he broke postseason records by hitting 11 HR in one postseason.
This post isn't to [shirt] on Libby.
It's to say THANK GOD MO IS GONE in 2 months.
What a stupid piece of [shirt].

One thing I would point out is If Arozrane was in St. Louis there is no doubt he’d be like Winn and be lucky to have 10 steals in a season. This team just doesn’t steal bases. And I would guess his HR total would probably also be in the 15 range, too, with Busch Stadium. It can be a hard place to hit HRs.

On one hand you’re right. I like the direction Libs is heading but RA is definitely better
On the other hand I’d almost be willing to bet RA would have been traded by now for “future assets” anyway as this team would be trash with or without him. He would have been apart of the sell off.
Perhaps he could have gotten you better value than he did back then. But either way he would have just been a victim of what has chronically become a directionless team with no hope.

Bernie roasted him in his latest video and said that another central division executive told him they are going to be sad to see Mo go and chuckled and Bernie knew what he was talking about that they know mo is bad

I don't know, other teams lately don't seem to have problems belting them

Less caustically, I agree with you wholeheartedly Ecle

Winn sucks at stealing bases

Yes. He is not stellar. Nor is anyone but Scott. I’d bet the teams with the most steals, making a single a double, have scored in top five in runs. Or wins.
I’m gonna look and see.
Ok here’s what I found. Top five base stealers- TB Cubs Milwaukee Seattle and rangers.
Tip five runs had Cubs and Brewers sixth.
So 40 percent of the top five steals teams were in top 6 runs scored.

If aroz had his 2024 season with the cardinals, everyone would have been clamoring to get rid of him. He’s had a nice bounce back season in 2025.
Liberatore has proven he’s a starter moving forward. Hopefully, he develops more stamina and become an effective starter for longer. I like Liberatore. Solid rotation piece.

And yet in real time when Arozarena was here you defended Shildt having the terribly slumping Fowler in the lineup almost everyday with your mantra then being "I trust in Shildt." Aroz never got a fair opportunity here, and it wasn't Mo making out the lineup, regardless of what some try to claim on here. A. Garcia also never got any fair opportunity with Shildt as manager. Felt like a lone wolf on here at the time hoping Aroz could get a chance here.
That said, Libs is trending very well, and the only starter this year with a sub 4 ERA.

Both players have turned into respectable MLBers. Aroz has more career highlights but every team needs pitching. Just look at the Cards rolling out Fedde and Mikolas every week.

Spilt milk. Cant put it back in the carton. However Libby has made significant progress this year.
