WC is only making $18M/ year. Signed through 2027 with club option for 2028, $5M buyout.

His Full No-Trade ends after the 2026 season. He has a 10 team no trade after that. So earliest can be traded is the 2026-2027 off season.

But this team has bigger problems than WC.

WC - trying to take a leadership role - but too much drama. Puts our hitters in danger and creates "retaliation" situations for our pitchers. I think everyone in the clubhouse is quietly tired of the act. HIs overt grading personality, coupled with Nado's brooding makes for poor leadership, which young players need.

Gray is our leadership saving grace, but not enough to overcome one of the poorest decade of roster management we've ever seen.

I think the opposite. Production outweighs the mistakes. Best hitter on the team and has picked up first base very well.

The team that trades for Contreras will certainly use the $5 M buyout for 2028 . He should be toast after 2027

Lot of negativity on CT for WC. Lot of dummies on CT.

WC is one of the players I wish would have waived his no trade clause. WC simply is not in the Cards future. I would rather see Burleson at first base.
