I guess they might want Donovan and Burleson in the lineup next season, but Nootbaar likely has little to no market from others. Also might get more in the off season for the first two.

Well they discussed it and his numbers are on par with Kwan who apparently is getting huge offers.

I get Donovan. Burleson I sort of get. Noot I can’t explain but I find it hard to believe Noot is getting a lot of interest.

Noot as a core piece. More like a piece of shiite.

Nobody can really predict you a lineup until after the winter meetings and most trades are over. I look for Bloom to trade Noot this winter along with a few others.

Noticed she had no update regarding Arenado . Or has she discussed him earlier and I missed it ?

Translation: Next year will be another reset/rebuild treading water season with largely the same cast. Revenue from TV, the gate, and BPV are down so no major FA signings. The CBA expires after '26 and they want their books as clean as possible before then.

It why not listen? Why say they are unavailable? Tell me where Burleson plays everyday and I will agree

This should be the expectation of Cardinals fans. Unless they can get someone on a 1yr deal, you're looking at veteran bullpen arms and mild trades. There won't be any prime PGs or NAs checking in to Jupiter in Feb. Brace yourselves. Hopefully, they have a plan to invest heavily after the lockout. If not, then I guess they become the Reds with the hope of becoming the Rays.

I have to think this was Mo wanting them the rest of season in a vain attempt to go out above .500.

It will be interesting to see if C. Bloom deals one, two or even all three this winter.
